We made it!!!

Excited to finally be in London! After arriving at our hotel and downing a 5-Hour Energy, we were ready to hit the town.



Our first stop of the day was the Tower of London (Chaucer connection), started in 1066, which has been an active royal residence since that time. During Chaucer's time, all the royal offices were housed in the Tower. As customs collector at the port of London for the king, Chaucer would have reported here.

Below is Mike watching over the Crown Jewels with the guard.
